Synopsis
Set in a near-future, Solarpunk Toronto, a veteran fire captain clings to the identity of 'Essential Personnel' in a world that no longer requires human labor. The Last Shift rejects the default dystopia of automation and looks instead at the harder problem: learning how to just be, after a lifetime of doing.
